Submitting Your Essay Application

• For Elberta Middle & High School Students:

      Return your completed application to Mrs. Alms by February 5, 2024.  Mrs.          Alms will submit your application to the Optimist Club of Perdido Bay.

• For Virtual, Private or Homeschool Middle or High School Students:

      Email your completed application to ocpbessaycontestchair@gmail.com by            February 5, 2023. Once you have emailed, please mail the completed                    application to: P. O. Box 87, Lillian AL 36549.

     The Essay Scholarship Contest deadline is February 5, 2024.

Scholarships

Optimist Club of Perdido Bay to Offer Scholarships

to Five Local High School Seniors

This year the Optimist Club of Perdido Bay will be awarding two scholarships to graduates of the Class of 2024 for students living in the Elberta, Josephine, or Lillian communities. We will be awarding one scholarship for students planning to attend a College/University and one scholarship for students planning to attend Trade/Technical School. Each scholarship will be for $1,000.00 and sent to the school you will be attending. 

 

Submitting Your College/Vocational Scholarship Application

• For Elberta Middle & High School Students:

      Return your completed application to Mrs. Alms by February 29, 2024. Mrs.          Alms will submit your application, along with a copy of your high school                transcript to the Optimist Club of Perdido Bay.

• For Virtual, Private or Homeschool Seniors:

     Email your completed application to KMcGlynn@rpta.org by February                   29, 2024. Once you have emailed, please mail the completed application,             along with a copy of your high school transcript, to P. O. Box 87, Lillian AL           36549. The College/Vocational Scholarship Contest Deadline is February 28,         2024.
